NFIRE

An Air Force Minotaur I rocket successfully launched at 2:48 a.m. EDT on April 24th, 2007 from the Virginia Spaceport Authority's MARS Pad 0B.

The four-stage rocket carried the Department of Defense's Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Near Field Infrared Experiment (NFIRE) satellite.
