This document states the overall safety philosophy implemented by VSA that meets or exceeds the regulatory requirements of the Occupational Safety and Healthy Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and any other federal, state or local safety policy applicable to VSA operations.

This plan identifies workplace emergencies or unforeseen situations that are most likely to occur at any VSA location, entails responsibilities, and specific actions required to ensure proper emergency actions and reporting. It also provides emergency information, instructions, and areas of accountability in the event of an emergency.
